About

Walid Al-Tinawi

I am a passionate storyteller, explorer, and camera nerd.

As an experienced editor, producer, and writer, I blend my love for art with my editing skills to create content that captures history and imagination. At the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, I manage projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and technical specifications.

I've also had the honor of interning with my favorite brand in the world, the National Geographic Society. As a Production Intern, I worked closely with the team of Producers at Nat Geo Live to concept, build, and plan shows worldwide. My role involved everything from early-stage concept development to creating legal binders for finalized shows.

Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Branding and Experience Design to enhance my storytelling abilities. This education allows me to combine my passion for video editing with the knowledge of creating emotionally driven experiences, immersing viewers in my work.

Driven to meet deadlines, I meticulously handle media ingest, editorial, color, mix, and conform. Through both my museum role and freelance work, I strive to leave a creative and impactful mark.
